Marvel vs DC: Fan-Made Trailer of the Century Showdown
Marvel vs DC

What if the most powerful superheroes from Marvel and DC Comics faced each other? Who would win a fight between Hulk and Superman, or between Iron Man and Batman? Find out in the fan-made trailer of the century, Marvel vs DC.

The Marvel and DC Comics cinematic universes keep expanding with new films and series featuring our favorite heroes (and villains). Marvel has the Avengers, already entering the third phase of movies, along with series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Daredevil, which keep getting renewed to fans' delight. On the other side, DC Comics is just beginning to build its own cinematic universe with Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, heading toward the imminent Justice League, but it's on the TV side where it shines with a great catalog including Arrow, The Flash, and Gotham.

But what many fans would surely love to see on the big screen one day is a showdown between Marvel and DC Comics superheroes. From here until we see a crossover between these two publishers in theaters, we may wait a long time. That’s how a group of fans from the site Screen Rant got to work and created their own trailer for the showdown of the century between Marvel vs DC. The video is a mashup where the Avengers take on the Justice League.

The trailer is made up of several fight scenes from the films and series, as well as previews shown in trailers for movies not yet released (Doctor Strange, Justice League). You can see an intense battle between Hulk and Superman, an archery duel between Hawkeye and Green Arrow, and a spectacular vehicle sequence with Batman piloting his Batwing and Captain America on his motorcycle. It may seem far-fetched to think Disney and Warner Bros. would ever join forces to bring their superhero squads into one film; however, this has already happened in comics. Back in 1996, both publishers teamed up to pit their characters against each other in DC vs. Marvel, and years later they did it again in JLA/Avengers (2003). No doubt required reading for fans who want to see the mightiest Marvel and DC Comics heroes clash.
